About

Jake Hammond is a director and editor with Box Party Films. He grew up in Minnesota and developed a passion for the horror genre early on. His projects tend to explore ideas of repression and anxiety, often through the eyes of teenagers. Some of his influences come from the work of John Carpenter, Brian De Palma, and Dario Argento.

 

He was the Production Designer for The Hole in the Floor, and the Assistant Editor for West Palm. Outside of Box Party Films, he worked as a Post Production Assistant with Marvel Studios, working on Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2  and Thor: Ragnarok.

Jake graduated from Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
