Hunter Truman is the Founder and CEO of Box Party Films. He is the writer and director of West Palm, co-produced with Brooklyn-based 5th Floor Pictures and filmed on location in South Florida in January 2017. His other company credits include Director of Photography for Aleksandra Hansen's Hole. He produced Chris Leary's Hometown Dan and Justin Zuckerman's A Future of Success. 

 

Outside of the company, Hunter works as a freelance director, cinematographer, and camera operator. In addition to independent feature films, he has worked with musical talents including Nick Jonas, Todrick Hall, Laverne Cox and MAX, and commercial clients including HBO, Buzzfeed, CBS, Disney Interactive, Dreamworks TV, Ford, Funny or Die, K-Mart, Pepsi, and the NFL. 

 

He graduated with a B.F.A. in Film Production from Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
